Hehey, Mejson. Regarding the last scene and these credits, I'm certainly impressed that after a long time coming, the project is nearly done. I'll stand by my statement that I will be returning to a much more active role in time for the next installment.
In the meantime, yes, the credits indeed moved me a good deal. Oddball friendships are oftentimes the favorites among viewers/readers dues to such spontaneity ironically being rather common in reality - no doubt I've had my fair share of acquaintances that were little like me, but we hit it off anyways. Especially true in war too, as soldiers of all people have unique backgrounds. At some point, though, you just fight so many common enemies and have each each other's backs so many times that it's impossible to not starting to respect each other. And that is how it begins ofc.
It is a little jarring that some of the other casualties throughout this episode get only a passing mention during the final roll-call, but I reckon it can be elaborated on in the later episodes. Perhaps as a conversation-starter for newcomer survivors wondering what happened to their pals.
I wonder, now that 2 is about to be released in full, how you might update the Character sheet animation. Will you be implementing a starter screen that asks the viewer how far they are in the series? It might confuse them if it is a sequential update when they go to that first before going to the other episodes, especially once the story of Reduce gets closer to the end.
