Don't worry, I'm not giving up :P I'm just focusing on creating other objects, specifically - insects, which will be needed anyway :) Hmm, I'm taking a break because the weather is beautiful and I prefer to spend time outside to enjoy the weather :)
@Mejson I've been taking the good weather (and even rain) for granted lately. Just plugging away at my job and taking a bit to relax. Still working on commissions but not so intensely that it burns me out. I have to find a way to better schedule my tasks -- this is the most frustrating. Lately I've been really sleep deprived and my work schedule has been flipped around something crazy!
Wish me luck also enjoying the outside LOL
I understand, that's good. Because it's obvious. It's good to break away and spend time together. Well... the thing is that I don't feel inspired because I don't have it, well... it's personal :P Well, having too much work is not good either.
Well then, I wish you lots of luck!
Thanks for including my quote here, every progress is still a progress, no matter how small. And I guess labor day holiday is good for your health :p
Cool, sure, it was nice to quote you :) Thanks! It's a hard time to make great progress on our project because I don't feel super inspired and the weather is nice :/ Hehe, maybe Labor Day is good for your health because you don't work XD You don't work - you live longer! :P
You're really upping the ante with the ants now hmm. :)
This looks great, simple's good sometimes, focus on the essentials...
I had no idea May 1 was International Day of Solidarity of Working People actually! We celebrate 'Walpurgis' over here - though we don't call it that ourselves, it's just the nearest translation. It's basically a celebration of Spring, the shift of seasons; the arrival of light... there's some religious tradition around it too, though it goes even further back historically. We dance around fires, it's almost like a New Year kind of celebration. A new start, brighter times ahead...
Happy International Day of Solidarity of Working People too though! :D Seems an all the more noble an intention.
As for health and all all is well over here right now, we definitely did get brighter days too, feels like summer already. :) Hope you get some friends over to check out the new place too, personally I'd probably enjoy living solo for a while, but all things in moderation! Gotta appreciate the people I'm around more too...
Hehehe, maybe I'll raise it :P
Yes, I'm currently focusing on insects :) I think it's worth it! Because these are important elements of 'Reduce 3' XD.
Cool, and hmm... interesting :) Cool, glad you shared it! :)
Thank you! And each other!
It's good that everything is fine with your health :) Yes, beautiful weather often repeats itself! This is important :P Of course... but luckily you can only be disappointed with a person once! XD Hehehe.
Regards!
@ADR3-N Best of luck enjoying the outside also! :)
Have you thought of elemental ants besides fire? My brain immediately went to dark souls and its lightning enemies, like the drakes. Perhaps they gain a static charge by rubbing their legs together. Or maybe that would make better sense for crickets, which the crew could use for travel and be immune to the static if they were touching or riding the cricket
Hmm, these are not elemental ants :P Fire ants really exist :) That's why :) Interesting :P Well... there's nothing more I can add to 'Reduce 3' :/ Unfortunately, we will definitely add to 'Reduce 4' go crazy :) Thanks for the interesting ideas! Regards!
@Mejson Just thinking of the wild things we see in nature and pop culture like zombies! The only thing i think could improve reduce series is to have the images larger on screen relative to the frames for more cinematic feel. Otherwise it rivals many visual novels of its kind!
It's good that you're thinking about wild things! Well, in 'Reduce 4' there will be a mix of different threats - including Zombies - unknown people who have been transformed into Zombies and delivered to the 'set'. Well... changing frames per second may have various consequences and the need to correct existing clips - I don't know yet if it makes sense. No one has complained about the frame rate for some time :P Well, I will move my characters faster during fights. Currently we have 23 frames/s, if I increase it to 30, everything will be super accelerated and I think it will be too fast :/ What do you mean - many visual novels?
@Mejson OH the frame rate is fine. I meant the size of the image -- not sure how else to translate, how wide the images are compared to the background, so that they take up more of the screen
Frame rate good? That's good! The size is 1024 x 768 px, I think it's quite ok, and there will be plenty of space in 'Reduce 3' :) Thanks for the idea - changing the size would have unimaginable consequences for improving the entire interface :/ But thanks for this anyway, I like your ideas!

"You'll see it someday" - I prefer "soon" over “someday”. We need slaughter now! :)
My suggestion for the next poster: episode #1 progress
Mejson
Hmm, well... I'm currently working on insects. I don't have the inspiration/motivation to make a scene :/
I don't think it's possible...
