Hello, how are you?

This is a very short scene... eeehmmm though, it's not really a scene... although there are also strong emotions and feelings that can be seen on... Credits (closing).

The truth is that Steve and Mejson on this... "trip". They became very friends... best friends... if you can be friends with a psychopath... and yet it succeeded :)

This "scene" has... hmm I have no idea... whole Credits is generating automatically... and I haven't checked how long it is... but I think everything happens at a good speed :P

"Together, we can do anything!" `Mejson

For the memory of my friend Steve... in time everyone will forget him... but not me... goodbye my friend...

What do you think about thisĀ "scene"?

Have you guys forgotten how to write in English?

Hehey, Mejson. Regarding the last scene and these credits, I'm certainly impressed that after a long time coming, the project is nearly done. I'll stand by my statement that I will be returning to a much more active role in time for the next installment.

In the meantime, yes, the credits indeed moved me a good deal. Oddball friendships are oftentimes the favorites among viewers/readers dues to such spontaneity ironically being rather common in reality - no doubt I've had my fair share of acquaintances that were little like me, but we hit it off anyways. Especially true in war too, as soldiers of all people have unique backgrounds. At some point, though, you just fight so many common enemies and have each each other's backs so many times that it's impossible to not starting to respect each other. And that is how it begins ofc.

It is a little jarring that some of the other casualties throughout this episode get only a passing mention during the final roll-call, but I reckon it can be elaborated on in the later episodes. Perhaps as a conversation-starter for newcomer survivors wondering what happened to their pals.

I wonder, now that 2 is about to be released in full, how you might update the Character sheet animation. Will you be implementing a starter screen that asks the viewer how far they are in the series? It might confuse them if it is a sequential update when they go to that first before going to the other episodes, especially once the story of Reduce gets closer to the end.

Hey! I'm glad to see you!

Well, almost ready. Elements for a special scene were left after the end credits. Well, surely your help will be very valuable and appreciated and needed. Also great!

Yes, I think the subtitles were create wonderfully! So many emotions and shows real emotions and relationships. Surely everyone will like their friendship, and a very painful loss and thanks and note that it's in honor of Steve...

The other characters who died weren't mentioned especially because they aren't close to us (not in crew just now) and the fans who represent them have long since disappeared (they aren't on NG) - with one term - they abandoned us... so it seems to me that there is no point in sacrificing them more time...

Yes, "Reduce 2 - Summary" will be a new summary project, but it will certainly be much better and modern and interesting, and will contain more content like for example. Map. What do you mean? Do viewers know how many parts there will be? Something will certainly be explained :P

Regards,
Mejson

PS. How are you doing?

Saw Cyberdevil mentioned quite a few times as the names rolled. :) Much obliged.

It looks good. Both the text and the photos that follow, though after the last scene I didn't think they'd really come to that point already... does this mean the next part's already planned out too?

I'm glad that you are also obliged :P
It means a lot to us, also gifted @Cyberdevil :)

It's nice that you like it :)
Only a very general outline is planned, very vague. XD

@Animetion24 @Mejson

I see, and that's fair. Now that you mention it I do realize they haven't been around. A lot has changed after all these years.

I probably should've guessed the default option was just making another summary project; I was thinking though that since the first Summary just dumps the info on the viewer upon loading, it could spoil for those who made the mistake of clicking on a Summary for an episode they hadn't seen yet. Perhaps a start screen that cautions the viewer that if they hadn't seen the episode yet, they will come across spoilers.

I know the chance of a mistake like that is rare, but it has happened in various other mediums too, like reading video game achievement descriptions and table of contents titles.

Myself, I'm doing fine. Despite the crisis and some civil unrest, my family's been doing well and in the immediate level of life, I cannot complain. It's good to keep occupied to not think too hard about such things.

It's puzzling that they disappeared like that... it seems to me that they will never come back, so they won't blame us, that their characters quickly died and aren't mentioned in any particular way (Credits), but after all their characters were a bit in the animation - yes as I promised. This is an adventure horror survival, so the heroes will die... as I once made a decision with my brother (@MariogD) and others - the more active a person is, the longer her character will live... Currently, fan characters are Delsin and <not created> character Cyberdevil. :)

To be honest, after finishing 'Reduce 2 - Part II' I will be creating 'Reduce 2 - Pass of Time' and 'Reduce 2 - Summary' at the same time, of course with your inherent help and what is important... I think that dubbing (voice) for a character should be record the fastest, so that it does not turn out that we are blocked because one of the voice actors is missing or there is no time... and they blocker creating the animation...

When it comes to spoilers, of course there is always such a risk... but it's everywhere and the viewer knows that if he didn't see the previous part, he should see it first... it's not our problem anymore, but the matter of the viewer's intelligence.

I'm very happy! It's great that you're fine and you're here with us. It's very valuable to us! :)

Hi, I think I will finish stage 21 soon... I would like to ask you if we will be doing the final test week?

And @Cyberdevil, @Animetion24, @MariogD and others - when do you think it's best to release ready animation (for everyone) - so that we finally get at least fifth place and have more than 3.30 ...?

Nice. I'll be heading off on my yearly vacation soon though, won't be online for all of July... seems I might be missing that final week? Looking forward to it either way though.

Not sure what the ideal release date would be. I guess people are generally more active in summer, seems best to time it to a day with less activity if possible, maybe avoid weekends or Mondays as to not compete with bigger artists for those awards - a Tuesday or Thursday maybe...? Not sure what release schedules everybody has though, I assume a lot of people try to spread their work out too.

Usually the ideal time is just late enough so the submission passes judgment right before P-Bot chooses the daily winners, when the score's the highest with everyone voting for B/P, but what time that'd be hmm. I have no idea these days.

If we all know the day/time well in advance at least we can all make sure to be online and vote at whatever time's chosen.

Yes, it's cool. Well, it's great, I know that this holiday is important to you and I'm glad you can enjoy it again. I understand, then we will try to do something somehow... although I don't hide that it's always better with you. :)

Well, it's really hard to say... I respect your opinion, that's why I'm asking you, well, let's see what it will look like... OK, cool - on Tuesday or Thursday :) We'll see how it will look.

PS. Today I finished the background for scene 21... I must admit that it took me a long time and it was quite tedious... but I finished :P This scene will not be long, but it will present several aspects and show a larger logical outline. :)

I can get online at a specific/day time up North too, long as I know when it'll be.

I understand, this is very good news... I think you can try every week or two because there will be some new information / matters at that time. :)

Everyone else may forget Steve but we won't forget about him.

You got it very beautifully... exactly like that :)
Really beautiful and deep words and... at the same time true, though probably banal for strangers... but not for us... :)
Friend, I'm glad you're here :) worries me that it's so rarely...
I would like to see you more often here :)
How are you? All good?

:)

Yeaah it still seems very much based on luck though, for example this last Thursday four top artists submitted at the same time, ChutneyGlaze finale that's been in the works for almost a year and Sublo and Tangy's season finale on the same day: https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1453294

...any other day the ChutneyGlaze one would've easily won first place.

Then on a Saturday it's like this: https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1453364

Not sure what to believe anymore. XD Maybe Thursday's not the ideal day after all... maybe it's possible to see when the Portal seems to have a bit lower/lesser activity and submit then hmm...

I understand, it's a matter of chance :P
It may or may not work XD
Well... I do animations for my pleasure and for you (my fans) because you like it.
I have hope that it will succeed :) but I would certainly not be sad if we won't won.

Alright, well I don't want to spend too much of that vacation time online but I'll be sure to log on every week at least. :) As long as the release it announced a bit in advance...

Of course you don't sit at the computer too much on vacation :)

I will definitely present you with updates / progress from 'Reduce 2 - Summary' - this summary will be epic and certainly a lot nicely done :P

And I asked / presented individual scenes from 'Reduce 2 - Pass of Time' and here I will ask for your opinions and comments :)
Especially when it comes to imaginary dialogues - are they cool enough. Of course you can show what you think - how better the scene can look.

Yes, I will do these two projects simultaneously :P Due to the fact that in 'Reduce 2 - Pass of Time' there may be stagnation related to the lack of some element, for example: dialogue.

@Mejson @Cyberdevil @Animetion24 I believe that animation is good enough to have high rank without any tricks. Let's see

I admire your optimism, brother :P :P :P
Every time just before the end of the project you think that this time it will be really great, and it's was as always XD
I must admit that it can be like 'Reduce 2 - Part I'... the memorable 3.30 :P
In 'Reduce 2 - Part I' there were a lot of interesting scenes - like Scene 4 is my favorite because I think that emotions came out great and skirmish between Steve and Mejson.

Ah the new projects in the works! That's cool, looking forward to those, though as for providing feedback and all: I'd rather wait with that till I get back. Will just be checking in to make sure I'm online when this one's released. It's an almost holy hiatus from all digital dues otherwise y'know. ;)

Well, right after completing 'Reduce 2 - Part II' :)
I'm glad you like it. :P
Known :)

@uncookboi @Mejson Im doing okay, big thanks for worrying and sorry for worrying you and the others. I may not be around too often but I always cared. Still care in fact but thank you.

Hello Friend!

I am glad that you are fine :) I am glad that nobody got sick :)

Cool, you are as often as you can! : P

I thought If you would want to have your own character in Reduce Saga in the future, so it's ok, but then you would have to record voice to him it yourself :)

Regards,
Mejson!
