Reduce 2 - Pass of Time - Scene 3 (Planning/Draft)

Welcome everyone!


It's a another scene planning/draft - this time it's: Scene 3 - A New Hope to Reduce 2 - Pass of Time - the first and also only addition to Reduce 2 :P


Scene 1 - Run and hide! - Approved!

Scene 2 - Our "friend" - Approved!


However, I'm currently working on improving / changing the navigation (film) for Reduce 2 - Pass of Time and a map for Reduce 2 - Summary. Busy! Busy! Busy! :P There's a lot to do all the time. XD


I'll be able to add for you to watching when I'm finished.


Scene 3 - A New Hope

Inscription (on black background):

Episode 3
Day 13
(~30 minutes later)
7:32 AM


Action:

1. Keni walks ahead and looks closely (his eyes are focused) and the camera goes with him.
2. Suddenly, Keni comes to an object stuck in the ground (possibly a partially broken bottle) and puts his hand to his chin and starts to think, says to himself, "We can hide here."
3. The camera slowly goes to the left and shows the Mazurek with Zip coming (Zip is weak, looks tired).
4. Zip sits down on a pebble (because he's tired), and Mazurek approaches Keni (he looks at him).
5. Keni asks Mazurek calmly: "What do you think?", and after a while Mazurek looks (sadly) at Zip and replies to Keni: "It will have to do".
6. After a while he adds shyly: "Are we able to excavate the sand?", and Keni smiles maliciously (does not turn around to him) and says maliciously: "Are you asking if I'm able?".
7. Mazurek squint his eyes, and after a while he smiles and adds: "Well, I won't ask Zip". Blackout.


Light effect:

Yellow (early morning).


Dialogues:

Keni: "We can hide here"
Keni: "What do you think?"
Mazurek: "It will have to do"
Mazurek: "Are we able to excavate the sand?"
Keni: "Are you asking if I'm able?"
Mazurek: "Well, I won't ask Zip"

@Mejson That would make sense. No offense for not taking a look at them; the news posts and movie submissions have told me what the inbox is referring to anyways :)

I doubt I have anything revolutionary for this scene, unlike the past two. Perhaps Mazurek would be more reflective of the current situation and say that the hiding spot "it will have to do" rather than "it might be useful", since he's taking Zip heavily into consideration.

And if the final line by Mazurek is a little in-joke between the three of them, perhaps the levity can be confirmed with Zip also giving one chuckle/grin to it as well. Who knows - it might be the last one he'll ever give as a living being. :J

@Animetion24, cool, no problem. Now it should be ok.

This is the second situation (described by you) - Mazurek with Keni are joking a bit, but without Zip - he is too tired and he doesn't listen to them at all. He's not involved in this conversation. No wonder - he's injured.

I don't know what can be changed here, maybe with @MariogD (my brother) we will arrange something to change based on your comment.

PS. Planning/Draft a new scene every two days!

- first paragraph -> good idea we will change that, thank you for this text 'it will have to do'
- second paragraph -> your logic is good. but Zip will not die, in 'Reduce logic' bitting does not infect only this strange mushroom thing (I do not know how to call it)

First paragraph - Mazurek dialogue and behavior corrected.

Second paragraph - Ophiocordyceps unilateralis (a fungal species of the Ophiocordycipitaceae family) requires spore release when the buds (emerging from the host) burst to infect. :P
