R2 - Pass of Time (Quality Choice)

Welcome everyone!

Due to the fact that these are only minor updates recently, so don't wait too long with new ones :) So it's time for another Poster! Go, go, go!

Before you, the selection screen of Animation Quality, i.e. the choice (quality) made, will be during the entire animation, unless you manually change to another one :) This time without any experimental solution, like failure - Auto Quality XD... P But there is no need to mention the failures :P Forgive me I was trying to combine something with Quality.

This board allows you to set the whole animation to the quality: Low, Medium and High :) (each quality is presented in the form of a different photo, which adequately represents the quality - different levels of blurring of the image) As far as I know, @Cyberdevil will be happy because he can set 'Low' and he will have this quality until the end of the animation :)

Please check if the text is correct:

***
Warning!
This animation has a lot of various details.
***
Select the movie quality display between: Low, Medium or High:
(Suggested quality: Medium - can prevent lags and visually not much different from High,
but significantly improves watching.)

What do you think about it, @Cyberdevil@Animetion24@MariogD@SayMeBott and @Mazurek?

Regards,

Mejson

(Recommended quality: Medium - higher performance (reduced lags) and similar quality relative to High setting). ----- And period after ending bracket!

Maybe... but I'm curious what they will say: @Cyberdevil and @Animetion24. :P

@MariogD just so you know periods are generally outside a parenthesis if the parenthesis is a part of a larger sentence; inside if the sentence is inside the parenthesis entirely. ;) At least in English, maybe Polish is different? Sounds good otherwise, I'd maybe tweak it a little, like so...

***
Warning!
This animation has a high level of detail.

Select your preferred movie display quality: Low, Medium or High:
(Recommended quality: Medium - higher performance (reduces lag) without much visual detriment)

...something like that? Below would work great too just with the: reduced lags > reduces lag or reduced lag change.

I improved, thanks for your help! :) :) :)

"H" is the correct answer! :D

Ohh I understand, I will correct :) You inspired me! Thanks :)

Everybody else in the comments chain have some good suggestions, but when it comes to describing trade-offs, perhaps it's better to minimize negative?

***
Warning!
This animation has many, many details.
***
Select your preferred quality setting: Low, Medium or High.
(Suggested quality: Medium - Significant performance [against lag] while maintaining high graphic fidelity).

Maybe there should also be a final note to the viewer that speaks of how they can always change the quality mid-animation if they so wish?

Negative? I didn't know there were any... I don't know each other that way. That sounds a bit strange to me: "This animation has many, many details.", But probably because I don't know anything about grammar.

Yes, it would be good if there was such a note about the possibility of changing the quality at any time during the animation, but what? And in what place?

What do you think about it, @Cyberdevil, @MariogD, @SayMeBott and @Mazurek?

A lot of suggestions here! :) 'Detriment' might be seen as a negative below, so yes, 'high graphic fidelity' sounds like a good replacement, but otherwise I wonder about a few things here...

The 'many, many details' seems maybe oversimplified considering the rest, but I guess you wanted to reduce the amount of 'highs' in the context @Animetion24 ? 'numerous details', maybe?

Do prefer 'recommended' over 'suggested', seems a bit more professional to me... ah here's a good distinction to back that up, off Google: We use “suggest” when talking about giving someone an idea in general, and we use “recommend” when telling someone that a certain choice or option is the best one.

'significant performance [against lag]' sounds like a bit of a paradox? I don't know what else to suggest though, this be getting complex, it does work...

I like the idea of being able to change mid-animation too! Personally I always do this via right-click though, it's the fastest way after all - maybe a simple note that you can change movie quality at any time via the right click menu? Not as visually appealing though I guess? ;)

@Animetion24 @Mejson @MariogD @SayMeBott @Mazurek

Well if the preview is right, there is a gear icon to facilitate changing the quality as the animation goes on, right? The note would be underneath the recommendation, something along the lines of:

"Keep in mind that you can always change the video quality at any time during play by clicking on the gear icon at the bottom right of the screen, and selecting Quality to bring up the above options."

Indeed, now that I'm reading my warning line again, maybe it's best to say the word once. Repeat adjectives have their place in dialogue and choreography (which I do a lot more of than informational messages ;o), but maybe not when wanting to deliver a point to the viewer.

@Cyberdevil Did respond about the repeat-adjective thing; suppose one will do. :)

Also the preview currently has a gear-select -> Quality option during the animation, so I was thinking of reminding the viewer with that as the final message on the warning screen.

Recommended does sound a whole lot better for an informational message, so let's go with that. :)

@Animetion24 Sounds good :)

Thank you for such a 'lively' and exciting discussion :P
At the top, I updated the Poster photo, you can see what it looks like now.
From what I understand, the best variation is:

***
Warning!
This animation has many details.
***

Select your preferred quality setting: Low, Medium or High:
(Recommended quality: Medium - higher performance (reduces lag) without much visual detriment)

Keep in mind that you can always change the video quality at any time during play by clicking on
the gear icon at the bottom right of the screen, and selecting Quality to bring up the above options.

What do you think about it, @Cyberdevil, @Animetion24, @MariogD, @SayMeBott and @Mazurek? Is it correct now?

Ah I think this skips over some of @Animetion24's points below, the visual detriment bit in particular... seems simple/functional, and I'd be fine with it personally, but to really bring in all points maybe:

***
Warning!
This animation has many details.
***

Select your preferred quality setting: Low, Medium or High:
(Recommended quality: Medium - better performance (reduces lag) while maintaining high graphic fidelity.)

Second part sounds good!

Alternatively that first 'many' could be something like 'numerous' or 'a large amount of' but maybe just overcomplicating things with more words there.

Okay, then definitely let it be:

***
Warning!
This animation has many details.
***

Select your preferred quality setting: Low, Medium or High:
(Recommended quality: Medium - better performance (reduces lag) while maintaining high graphic fidelity.)

Keep in mind that you can always change the video quality at any time during play by clicking on the gear icon at the bottom right of the screen, and selecting Quality to bring up the above options.

@Cyberdevil, thanks for the help!

Just hope @Animetion24 is OK with the compromise too! :)

@Cyberdevil @Mejson I'm all good with this. :D
