R2 - Pass of Time (New Hero - Rash)

Welcome everyone!

Phew, I have finally finished designing / drawing... in this holiday season it is hard to motivate myself to work / create, because the still heard coriander and sincere I help family ensure they actively spent time. How are your preparations for the holidays, my beloved followers? Hehehehehe XD Are you decorating a 'real' / 'living' Christmas tree? Do you prefer artificial? In my family home we have a tradition that the Christmas tree must always be real :P Unfortunately, this year we do not meet in such a large group as always... because you can guess why: / Well... that's life.

Here's a new Poster, namely hero - Rash. Probably some of you was remember him from the previous series: Counter Strike :P As you can see, he is a steadfast and persistent... asshole Hehehehehe XD

The next step (in the project) is to do basic animations such as walking and running. Interestingly, for the 'old' characters, we don't have all the animations - these types of moves.

What do you think about it, @Cyberdevil, @Animetion24, @MariogD, @SayMeBott and @Mazurek?

Definitely a real Christmas tree over here. :) Finna go buy one this week. We fetched some pine branches for Advent earlier, usually that's the tradition here, put up stars/candles/vases with decorated pine/curtains/cloths for Advent, and then a week or so before Christmas really begins it's time for that tree; all the more sparkly stuff! Then finally: two weeks of vacation! I'm really looking forward to some rest right now...

How about you? How involved do you get this time of year? Also don't think I really understood the 'still heard coriander' bit...?

It's nice that you also have interesting traditions :P It's always nice and nostalgic :) Cool ideas :) I also have a vacation from December 16 to January 2 :P But I don't plan any special events / expeditions / adventures. Of course I will have more time for Flash / Animation because I will not work 8 hours on my job :P

I'm doing reasonably well, well... there are sometimes unpleasant situations (especially when it concerns another person), but I don't give up, although I actually miss people...

Quite a lot, I mean in the past years - the whole family used to meet at one table and different dishes were cooked / prepared, even very old-fashioned.

Christmas carols are still on TV and in the form of advertisements on most websites, and our TV sets are always on - in the kitchen and in the parents' room.

I have an artificial tree that my folks have been using for the past twenty years. Before that, we didn't quite like having to throw out the tree after the Holiday season was over.

Rash intrigued me when I first got into your CS animations. His playstyle of being in the right place at the right time in practically all maps for a pivotal showdown made it very entertaining; now that I'm an avid watcher of the Pro CS:GO scene, it's those plays that can make the most satisfying clutches to see.

Would be fun to see Rash bust out a scythe (made by Mazurek of course) like the one he had in the final CS animation to rend apart hostiles. And to write his bio more in full once we see more of what he'll be doing as Reduce continues. :)

Rash... well yeah, he's also resourceful live and knows where he should be, he's a gamer and he knows strategy, although he's a bit of a mischievous asshole XD Hehehehehe

Yes, Counter Strike... yes, those were good times, but everything changes and I changed, so the 'mindless' CS didn't give (me and maybe others) such satisfaction... We wanted to create something much more ambitious, although Reduce 1 was not a top-flight XD However, I consider Reduce 2 (all projects) a great success :)

Hmmm, good :P You can design a spear that will somehow resemble 'Scythe' :P :P :P (of course, it's designed by Mazurek :P).

Of course you can write a full biography (if you want) :P Although you can probably guess @Animetion24 what Rash's character is :P :P :P

Gentlemens, could it be done that the TXT information was downloaded (for animation) from a file located on the FTP server?

What to do for Christmas? Just gonna stay home, playing games, watching videos and what not, especially with the pandemic, you can't really go out much.

Anyway, about the new character Rash, would love to see his role in the saga. Love the design, and looking forward to see him in the saga. :)

Yupp, traditions really make for a sense of familiarity and nostalgia too. :) Woah, one more week than me then! Last work day's the 23rd over here. Start again the 6th. You don't decorate at all though, no Christmas tree for you? When there's no sun outside those lights brighten things up a bit I feel. :) And the smell of fresh pine's quite nice.

Yeah I can relate to that. I've been driving to the office once a week earlier but last week I worked from home entirely, and it's amazing how big a difference that one day does. We were really getting on each other's nerves more than usual... but calmed down a bit. One more drive to the office before Christmas at least...

That sounds nice. :) Are you getting together with relatives this year? Just the family members you live with?

Yes, we dress a fresh / alive Christmas tree nicely and always give each other a lot of gifts (we put it under the Christmas tree) :)
Maybe so :) But it looks like there will be no snow... hmm, I'm not a fan, so it makes no difference to me :P
Yes, I love sosaen / forest smells and others :P I like different scented candles :)

It's cool, it's important that you've already got along. I work remotely from March :P I already forget what the office in the company looks like :P Hehehehe

The TV is on all the time in these two rooms... yeah it looks like in my parents (family home).

Oh I just meant that's the time I'm off from work, but I might be taking some time off from NG tooyes. Gotta spend time with the family and really appreciate the moment too. :) No travels though. I'll still be here somewhat.

Nice, just like we do then regarding the tree. :) And no snow here either unfortunately... ah personally I do miss it! Really makes things brighter. And warmer, paradoxically enough. :P

Although my mother has started to appreciate what I do and she is proud of me for the medal for the second place :P

I'm sorry to hear this, my friend... you probably love snow. I just don't do winter sports and that's probably why this is a reason. Is it paradoxically? On the contrary, glaciers are melting and the climate is warming.

We live close to each other all the time - Kozienice is a small city and it is not far to @MariogD, although often I'm in Krakow and he is in Warsaw.

I get used to it :P Just when my mother does something in the kitchen (cooks) she still watches some cheesy series :P Not necessarily isolated :P

Yesss, sometimes breaks are good. Ah that's cool, good to see they're starting to get a bit more involved! We definitely have different interests too but at least all enjoy good food; memories; the company. :)

Hmm, I was trying to learn to ski a bit just a couple years ago actually, so far not very good at it, but I still love snow! What about building snowmen, igloos, ice lanterns, just jumping off roofs into huge piles of powdery white fluff? :P Not that I do a lot of that these days but... good memories though. But mostly I just like the visual aspect of it. World looks so much softer and cozier with real winter. Plus it's fun to drive in it!

Ah yes, global warming does feel very real during the winter. I meant more so that when the water never freezes, there's a higher level of humidity in the air now, and so when it's just a few degrees above zero and a cold wind it actually feels closer to -10C. Whereas if the lakes were all frozen over the air would be dry, and it'd actually feel warmer than it is even if it was a few degrees below. :) Plus snow around the house/on the roof provides insulation; helps keep the warmth inside.

I felt so! Heheh cool :) Yes, it sure is fun to do these things, but I think I grew out of them. We only made XD snowmen.

What is worse, this warming is permanent and it is getting worse every year... It is rather very bad for our planet. If the glaciers on the land melt, we are twisted because the ocean levels will rise and the land will be under water...

Why? Because I would be nervous? Hehehe XD I don't talent for VA or sound design... and I don't have XD

Mmm I remember we talked about this earlier too. :) I feel like I never really grew out of anything! XD NG also seems like one of those places a lot of people end up leaving when they start 'living' for real; pursuing careers and families full time. But maybe not as much now as it used to be, all ages here now.

Indeed. And yet there's talk of an impending ice age too... it's strange how even though sometimes summers ere are actually colder than ever too, we also get occasional heatwaves that are almost tropical. Really feels like everything's out of balance. The seasons aren't as obvious as they used to be either.

Ah no I was thinking that if there's always background sound somewhere in your house maybe that'd just be an impossible career path. :P Would have to soundproof the room somehow!

But regarding sound design you did do a good job shifting the character voices earlier! I don't think you're talentness! ;) You just get better and better with whatever you choose to focus on.

Warming or the Ice Age... hmmm what what, but there are rapid changes that are terribly irritating... You can't predict what will happen.

Sorry, just noticed this question. I'm planning to be a pilot, but I do like composing songs too. My music composing and sound making skills can be used as a secondary source of income, in case something like covid happens again, where pilots have to remain grounded.

Basically, being a pilot would be my professional job, and being a sound engineer and music composer would be my hobby/secondary income source.
