Welcome everyone!

First thing:

Hello people! Greetings to you again! My wonderful crew and the entire cultural/artistic mix of NG! How I holding up? You can guess...yes, go ahead, why not? Yes! You guessed right! I'm sick again... Hmm, I feel like this winter is trying to kill me. :P It's kind of funny, but not really... because it's tiring and tedious at the same time. I think that in the future I will make a poster about my record illnesses this winter - a great achievement that I hope is worth immortalizing... I don't know... sometimes I feel like I do a lot of things just for myself... but it's not it doesn't matter, I'm used to the fact that most things we create and it is often ignored or unnoticed. It doesn't matter, most of them are just a souvenir from the near or distant past :) We know that Reduce Saga will probably never be as popular as CS, but everyone knows perfectly well that you can't do anything by force... especially since it was a series of youth - so early, it had no logic or sense, and yet animations don't have to be like that. I think that animations are the future, especially since real films are going to the dogs... Animations are the future! I would like all NG creators to think of animations as an opportunity to develop and improve themselves and their works. Well, I guess I talking too much :P Hehe. Greetings to you once again!

Main thing:

This time it's time for something special! It's as the title says - Trophies Menu! Naturally (as you can see), there are no photos added because these will be photos from scenes that have not been created yet. I will try to explain it as best as I can. You can start by saying that this applies to special editions - Reduce - Part (I, II and III). These are three projects that will be in the SWF version, which means they will be able to be interacted with by the user (but not only, sometimes there will be humorous gags and memes). The user will be able to get special trophies and their descriptions, which are also Easter Eggs - the user will have the opportunity to get to know our crew better! I think it's very interesting, not only because of the trophies themselves, but also because of the creation of a kind of bond - the viewers with the creators :) More precisely, in each single scene you will have to obtain a trophy, which will be represented as a spider running across the screen at the moment of occurrence. Easter Eggs and when the viewer catches (clicks) this spider, he or she will unlock a specific Easter Egg. There are 18 of them in total, i.e. 1 per scene, and in each part (I, II and III) there are 6 scenes, so you can guess that the first SWF project will consist of 6 individual scenes (episodes).

As in the screenshot above we have:

  • information about where we are (upper left corner),
  • remaining - standard options (upper right corner),
  • text information explaining operation (above and below),
  • return to the main menu (bottom left corner),
  • information on what the user has moved the cursor over (bottom right corner),
  • three clickable buttons (photos) in the left middle to change trophies from the next part (I, II and III),
  • in the very center there are 6 square cards that are clickable buttons (going to a specific Easter Egg / Trophy).

In the next Poster I will present one example of EASTER EGG / TROPHY. It will include a photo from the scene and a description that explains the specific Easter Egg.

What do you think about it, @Cyberdevil@AzureDragoonGX@ChordC@MariogD@SayMeBott@Colizza@XavierDalton@MATRVG@uncookboi@adr3-n?

WIll these trophies be linked to medals too, via the NG API? If there's one thing users like it's medals IMO, if it's not planned it could be a good boost. ;) Though could you have medals on movies too hmm, maybe you couldn't, they've made exceptions for certain collabs in the past if no...

This looks great, I like the literal egg trophy too, like a Fabergé egg... cool design.

As for your sickness man, what a record to have. XD And you do take vitamins.... do you get enough sleep? Wonder how you could boost your immune system further, troublesome with ailments as reoccurring as this! Get well soon.

I knew someone would ask about it right away... no, they won't! This can't be done... I did something like this in Reduce 2 - Summary, and in the project view it worked, but after publication it didn't, so I'll forgive myself this disappointment for the second time... :/ There's no point in wasting time on it because it won't really impress anyone enough to make it worth fighting, and it won't work anyway... What do you mean? - 'medals for films'? And where would you like to add it? If it goes to 'Parts', it's out (the point limit has already been reached).

Thank you! It's nice and it's a pity that it will only be for information purposes, but I'm self-taught when it comes to using AS3.0, so I'm probably not advanced in it. I don't think I'll be any better...

Yes, yes, yes... I think it's because of stress... and losing weight makes me feel cold all the time in this musty hole where I still live :/ That's how it is. Thanks!

Hello again, still getting sick I see. Since it is winter, I guess you can try exercising at home and have a healthy diet. I am not a doctor, so that is all i can say :P maybe you need to see a doctor...

Well, I guess animations and other art forms keep evolving. I guess the best way to keep up is to expand your knowledge, consider learning more modern animation tools (Flash alternatives maybe? because your current Flash animations are unstable at best), and keep improving on your skills. This is up to you of course. Oh yeah, and also promoting the series in social medias (instagram, youtube, facebook), though I suggest improving your animation to some modern standards at least. Stick animation can still reach success nowadays, here is an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KYa5jcaO5A

As for the Trophy menu, the UI looks pretty organized. I think you will upload this as a game right? Let me know if you need anymore songs in the future ;)

Well... I'm sick, but you know that very well :P I'll go back to the gym when I feel better - maybe tomorrow. You know perfectly well that I went to the doctor... hmm, could it be sclerosis, Mate? :P

Well, I think so too (or at least I hope so). Adobe Animate 2017 is the ultimate/most advanced animation software... it doesn't get any better (it has unlimited possibilities). How unstable? I don't know what you mean... Everything is super stable. Improving your skills comes with time. I'm quite good at solving/improving new interface elements, sometimes I have to think about new solutions, but usually (recently) they come out as expected. Naturally, when it comes to my AS3, it is probably not particularly optimized, but I am self-taught and I do it as best I can. It's not about making games, so it's not a problem at all. I'm not a person who has time to promote 'Reduce 3' because, firstly, I have enough work to do with the animation itself, and secondly, I'm not very good at it. Maybe someone else from the team may have some differences in this area... I improve my animations as best as I can, and what you show is a matter of the artist's style itself (as in this video).

Thanks. Well, as I said, it will be a game with the possibility of unlocking trophies after 6 separate episodes (mp4). You've already got one for work :)

@Mejson "I would like all NG creators to think of animations as an opportunity to develop and improve themselves and their works" - I believe it is no different

After every storm, the sun comes out - so prepare sunscreen ;)

It would be great if animation medals were like game medals

It's good that you think so... because I can point out some creators who have not improved anything for a decade and are probably constantly surprised by the lack of progress - in terms of ratings and medals...

I hope I won't have to wait long for "The Sun" :P

What do you mean? :) Can you elaborate?

Thanks for comment!

That's a really cool idea! The spiders running across the screen!

I'm also sick rn. Recovering slowly but surely. I'm luckily not contagious bc I have to go back to work tomorrow lol. Wish me luck!

Still working on music for our animations, that's about all there is. Got a couple new releases coming to spotify/other dsps. And slowly but surely cranking out a new expansion for my Take My Cymbals sample pack.

Besides that, just living. I put together a table and chairs yesterday that my gf and I salvaged from another apartment. The better part of the day was spent chiseling out fittings for it, but now it doubles as a standing desk for me so I'm comfortable working

Thank you! I think it will be a cool form of interaction with the viewer and will fit the style of 'Reduce 3' itself! Hehe... yeeeah, those spiders :P

I'm sorry to hear that :/ I hope it will pass soon and you will be able to return to work and work efficiently without any fatigue from the disease :) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and as you mentioned - good luck!

It's good to hear that :) It's a pity that you joined the band quite late - after I had already agreed with ChordC regarding the music songs and his great ability to sense the 'Reduce Saga' style :/ But I am convinced that, there will certainly be many songs in the future to create! :)

Yes, live and enjoy life... but I know it's not always easy. Nice to hear of such achievements! Cool!

Thank you for your comment!

@Mejson we will try to figure out this medal issue together. So answering @Cyberdevil question I am more than sure it will be linked to the NG medals :)

No need, I'll make the medals the same as in 'Reduce 2 - Summary' except it won't show in the animation which ones have already been unlocked and which ones haven't - it doesn't make any real difference and it's not very effective to worry about it. In short - if you catch a spider in the SWF project, a popup will appear with an unlocked medal in the animation, and the medal will be added to the user's profile on NG. And that's all.

Thanks for comment!

@Mejson Absolutely. Reduce will certainly not be the end of our collaborations together!

Yes, for sure! I'm more worried about the people responsible for dubbing, or rather the fact that they may be missing :/ But maybe it won't be so bad :)

@Mejson what makes you think you have sclerosis? I don’t think it has anything to do with flu. I think the doctor didn’t check thoroughly, they just give you medicine and take your money :p but I dunno, hope you’ll be fine.

The frame rate is unstable at times, even with low quality in my experience. Hopefully it’s just a momentary problem. And yes, it’s nice seeing your project improving overtime. Glad you are enjoying what you do :) as for promotion, I am sure we have some members who are great at promoting things.

Yep, just completed a song, your request is next ;)

I wrote that you have it :P but it doesn't matter :) Because I already asked for a doctor. Didn't check thoroughly? Believe me, he checked... Doctors are not paid for. I don't pay. Doctors do not prescribe antibiotics without a reason - they know when to give antibiotics, which, by the way, are dangerous to health because they may cause consequences in the future. They know exactly what they are doing, so don't doubt them! :P Maybe it will be good if I move, my current apartment is too cold for me...

Not true... the number of frames per second is constant and it doesn't matter in the mp4 version either. Mate, don't spread defeatism here, please XD Especially in cases that we have no influence on - sometimes there are actions that require more processing power of the processor, and I always do everything possible to reduce the load - for example adding a png image instead of a real background. I'm glad you like it, and by the way, the new interfaces use more memory, and people already have very good computers, so it should work very well for them too. Hmm, I wonder who could create something more promotional somewhere...

Yes, great! I heard the work is ongoing! Cool!

It'll definitely bring the style out more and its a good idea to add.

But what do you mean?
