This is a very short scene that has the function of showing that the characters "defeat" the door...


This scene lasts 19.9 seconds, which is really short... although probably everyone will say that this scene is fast ready... :P :P :P


As we can see on the screen - our poor ant is tired and has hard times behind him...


Current frame consumption (for the whole animation) is: 13315 / 16000 frames.


However (without panic) the situation is as follows (We have 2700 frames for this two scenes, so in these scenes I won't be in a "hurry" at all costs):

  • Scene 20 - possible between: 230 - 430 frames,
  • Scene 21 - possible between: 230 - 430 frames.


The current length of the animation is: 569 seconds.

Hello, how are you? Good?


Interesting... it's a simple scene... but it took me two weeks to finish it...


This scene lasts 58.3 seconds, which is almost a minute. I think that's pretty good. :P

(We had a maximum of 87 seconds for this scene, so as I suspected I made it. XD)


This scene shows the risk taken, which we are often forced to take... but as the title informs us it's... too much...

Also, we have here the first symptoms of psychological trauma that affected one of the main characters, namely... Mejson. :/


Current frame consumption (for the whole animation) is: 12857 / 16000 frames.

If someone counted it correctly, there are an additional 226 frames... yes, these are Credits (end credits) that will be presented in their time (after scene 20).


However (without panic) the situation is as follows:

  • Scene 19 - 2000 max frames (but probably less),
  • Scene 20 - possible between: 230 - 430 frames,
  • Scene 21 - possible between: 230 - 430 frames.


The current length of the animation is: 549,1 seconds.

how are you doing, healthy?


This time... it didn't last long... I'm happy to say that... I finished - Scene 17!


This scene lasts 57.7 seconds, which is almost a minute. I think that's pretty good. :)


We have here some emotions and something new / unprecedented so far... our 'silly' Candy... as you probably noticed, he is going through an internal transformation - he comes out (in a way) from Autism... In this scene you can see it perfectly... I don't tell you more. :P


Current frame consumption (for the whole animation) is: 11289 / 16000 frames.

I know there is not much left...


However (without panic) the situation is as follows:

  • Scene 18 - 2000 max frames (but probably less),
  • Scene 19 - 2000 max frames (but probably less),
  • Scene 20 - possible between: 230 - 430 frames,
  • Closing credits - I'm going to use ActionScript 3.0 to scroll through the subtitles to save frames (it's a very good idea because why waste frames on the final subtitles),
  • Scene 21 - possible between: 230 - 430 frames.


The current length of the animation is: 490,8 seconds or 8 minutes and 10,8 seconds.

As you can see on the screen... I finished the background for Scene 17... but you can't see the whole... like for example. Door... these legendary doors... hehehehe :P


In this scene, as you can see... there is a new insect - the caterpillar and cocoon (chrysalis).

How are you?


Finally... I know it lasted quite a long time, but... I finally finished - Scene 16!

Normally this scene should take me not so much time, but I can honestly say that this scene consists of two scenes, but... they are closely connected...


Scene 16 - Part I (Nightmare) - 45,3s.

This is very important (admittedly added at the last minute), because it shows imperfection and the human (defective) face of the character - namely Mejson. I know it's a little slow (at beginning), but it's purposeful because I'm building a climate right now... did I get it? Is this the beginning of some disability? Certainly the future will show...


Scene 16 - Part II ("Normal") - 45,8s.

This is a continuation of the adventures of our heroes... The characters notice that Candy is disappearing... therefore the title of this scene is "Again..." As usual, the scene contains a multitude of feelings and emotions... Again, I must admit that in Reduce 2 - Part II there will be no more sharp actions... I know everyone would like to...


In total, it came out (together)... 91.1s. - i.e. 1 minute and 31.1 seconds...

this screen shows the beginning of Scene 16, which is divided into two parts - as you can see the first is Mejson's nightmare, and the second is the "normal" scene.


Recently, I started to create an action (there is climatic music and the environment), currently it has 18 seconds. I planned one additional element - Mejson hears the self-extinguishing bonfire he approaches, and the meat (which was fried) is all in fungus - scary_momment.


I hope that next week I will find more time and I will made more of animation (Scene 16). Maybe I'll take two days off.


What's up? It worries me that there was no trace of: @Animetion24 and @uncookboi... Anyone know how to contact them?

Hello everyone!


Yes, it's the best time for the first poster about Reduce 2 - Part II. :P

In the attached photo we can see the situation / leitmotif associated with the feelings of a certain character who will have nightmares and mental trauma. Shows the double loss associated with the death of a friend.


I'm convinced that adding this mental trauma changes the situation of the characters and shows the human feelings of the characters - they are only people and are vulnerable to everything that surrounds them.


As in cruel real life... when it's bad it can always be worse...


Following the convention that we don't return to the previous poster when it is new. I reply to the @Cyberdevil comment: with @MariogD we checked for errors - there were two that I corrected before publishing, but thanks for the interest. :)


There will be more explanations when presenting the new scene.

Hello everyone!


I know that it lasted longer than everyone thought, well... I had a lot of work (in my dream new job) :P I know I said it, but it's true. :)


And now good and the most important new: Reduce 2 - Part I is Completed :P :P :P


And now what needs to be done before 'Published':

  • I have to write 'Long Description' for Reduce 2 - Part I (my brother @MariogD was supposed to help me, but... as usual, he doesn't have time :/) - DONE,
  • we need to check and make sure all the animation is OK (I'm asking everyone for help - in your opinion is great?),
  • you can view in the project view (as usual) and I send you in private messages.


I'm looking forward to your comments. :)

Hello everyone!

I know that there has been no update for a long time... I already explain, but first I wanted to wish you - my beloved fans (and not only) - a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. :) Do you have any New Year's resolutions?


Recent situations (which affected me in December):

  • I had a lot of work (in my dream new job) :P - the end of the year and related events,
  • two weeks ago I finished - Scene 15, but it turned out that the animation stops strangely in the same place - it was a big problem,
  • I did a drastic optimization and I divided the animation into individual scenes (earlier the action was in one scene - convenient navigation through them), I thought that was the reason,
  • It turned out to be something completely different - well, Adobe Animate has limitations: "16,000 frames: When targeting Flash Player, exceeding this limit causes the movie playback to stop. While most developers never reach this limit, it is possible..." - I also experienced it.


Together with @MariogD we have come to the necessary conclusion - we have to divide our wonderful Reduce 2 animation, and it will be as follows:

  • Reduce 2 - Part I (it will contain scenes 1-9, and on the stage selector there will be a button for the second part with the inscription "Comming soon", and if both parts are ready then there will be a link),
  • Reduce 2 - Part II (it will contain scenes 10-21 (two scenes are only a few seconds), and on the stage selector there will be a button for the first part with the inscription "Go to Reduce - Part I").


The necessary steps that you need to do to finish (this will be in January - @Cyberdevil tell you when it's best to do it) - Reduce 2 - Part I:

  • change the logo in the main menu - from Reduce 2 to Reduce 2 - Part I (DONE),
  • change the film reel (to navigate the scenes) as described above (IN PROGRESS),
  • create final credits (all final information - as usual in final credits) (IN PROGRESS),
  • conduct tests - are there any errors or irregularities (with your participation) (TO DO).


Tell me what you think about all this - I hope you are not angry, that I have not spoken for so long...

How are you? How is your life?

I recently have a lot of work and a lot of learning in my new job (it's been two months)... so it's two weeks later... Normally this scene should take me a maximum of a week. Well... I hope it's not a tragedy... :P


First of all, I would like to remind you that "our" best stage testers missed... an important detail. :)

Nobody noticed that... in Scene 13 - Candy has no wound or bandage on his hand... and yet he was wounded. :P

I just noticed and corrected... I hope there are no other mistakes... :)

What do you think before publishing the whole movie (in the future) for everyone - we should do a week of testing?

I don't want any errors on production...


Okeeey, let's get to the right part.

Scene 14 - As you have already noticed, our heroes are not in the best shape - especially Mejson - you can be sure that the recent events will change him... and even not only him (everyone experiences it in their own way).

But... life goes on... and after each fall - you have to get up! :)


Scene 14 is not a particularly long scene, because it has only 37.6 seconds, while the entire animation is 628.3 seconds. :P I suspect that the next scenes will have a similar length...


Scene 1 - "The nightmares"
Nightmares... an inseparable aspect of life. They always chase us and don't let sleep at night... They are the epitome of our stress, doubts and past events... They won't stop haunting us until we close some issues from the past or we organize our lives. Nightmares often affect people who have something on their conscience, unless someone has no conscience...

Scene 2 - "The matched duo"
Matched duo... there is always better with company. It doesn't matter whether you are super fast... extraordinary strong... or you have the eyes of a falcon... sooner or later will happen that the cruel beast of reality will dump you from the saddle... and if you go through life alone then it finally going to destroy you... Therefore, never forget what friendship is - it will never let you down...

Scene 3 - "It's raining..."
It's raining... it's better not to go outside. Nothing can be done with the mother's nature rage... neither haste nor perfect equipment of the backpack or experience will not protect against the treacherous weather. It always starts inconspicuously... and deceives with its initial delicacy... then to attack with a full fury - crushing everything on its way... therefore it's better to patiently wait...

Scene 4 - "Training is a health..."
Training is a health... this isn't up for discussion... Excellent condition and strength are essential to survival in an cruel and harsh environment. When you run out of breath and your temples are pulsating intensively from tiredness, then you realize that you weren't ready for this... but it is already too late... Adversities will not wait until you draw air - only crush you immediately... so take care of your health...

Scene 5 - "Almost there..."
Almost there... it is often repeated sentence. Saying it - more or less gives a hope and uplifts... However, sometimes it is only a excuse for exaggerated optimists... Still, don't be discouraged, because of hope we are able to achieve the desired goals... Therefore, never lose hope...

Scene 6 - "The climbing..."
The climbing... one simple activity associated with huge effort. Climbing is the most competitive and dangerous activity - many people have died... And yet they are still trying, because there is nothing more beautiful than reaching the top and great satisfaction with it... That is why it is always worth taking a risk...

Scene 7 - "The coveted support"
The coveted support... so much expected and desired. There is never too much support... no matter if there are some resources or other people, because you can never predict what adversities you will have to deal with or whether you will face with the raw mother nature. She treats all her children equally... judges them regardless of whether they are polite or not... therefore, never despise anyone's help...

Scene 8 - "The clumsy mistake"
The clumsy mistake... it's happens sometimes... everyone makes smaller or bigger mistakes and in spite of appearances it's good because a man learns from mistakes. It's important not to worry and keep moving forward and forward... and forgive someone else's mistakes... however, mother nature is cruel and never forgive... one mistake and you can say goodbye to your life... therefore watch how you walk between her beloved children...

Scene 9 - "The another loss..."
The another loss... it's just as painful as the first, even when you expect it... you can never be prepared for the loss of a loved one. People with a weaker one can experience a mental breakdown or become depressed, and even a worse thing may happen... a sensitive hero with a pure heart under the influence of many traumatic experience can change dramatically... he may become an empty and insensitive shell...

Scene 10 - "Despair..."
Despair... is the result of a loss... the painful loss that can affect everyone... it takes time to come to terms with such a heartbreaking experience. The closer relationship between companions the despair is greater... Even the most heartless and ruthless badasses need time to deal with the loss of a companion... no one can predict how much this process will take. Sometimes it takes days, weeks, and even years... and sometimes... nothing will wear off the sadness, you will carry it in your heart whole life...

Scene 11 - "The nothingness"
Nothingness... can affect anyone. This is an unexpected sudden condition that cannot be simply defined. Everyone has own theory on this subject... no mather if the soul goes to heaven after death or is reincarnated, nothingness leaves an empty body... what if this empty shell still is able to work? Will be this still a life?

Scene 12 - "The rage"
The rage... is the worst variant of fear and helplessness, because nothing irritates a man like the inability to realize own inspirations and needs. This feeling eternally leads to fights, disagreements, aggression, struggles, murders and wars... and everyone is different and has very different beliefs, so rage is never over.

Scene 13 - "The thing..."
The thing... what exactly is it? Is this a living being? Or maybe a nasty abomination? No matter what it's, there is no right to exist, because it only ignites the memories of a man who is gone... makes people to have a fleeting feeling of meeting their companion again, but it's only an illusion... and it causes a pain in some people associated with the need to end the life of a nasty being they respected in the past...

Scene 14 - "Just wait..."
Just wait... and nothing else remains. There are moments in our lives that we have no influence on the reality that surrounds us. When mother nature is capricious and intertwines our lives with an unfortunate fate that we cannot avoid... whatever we do, we won't avoid upcoming events... we have to face our nemesis...
